Project 2: "Bodies" Collage
In my photomanipulation, I tried to capture the effort and soul that an artist puts into their work. Each piece could almost considered, in a metaphorical way, to be a reflection of themselves, a piece of the creator. While what they visualize may differ from what is produced, in the end, it's still theirs, and that should count for something.

Wow, this is absolutely incredible. I love the detail, and is the girl in the painting drawing herself? Really cool!
ReplyDeleteThank you! She's actually painting that meadow scene, but now that I think about it, it probably would have been even better if she had been doing a self-portrait.
DeleteThis is almost seamless. If i were to come by this on the internet I would probably not know that this was a collage untill i took a closer look. Most of your sources are photos, but in a way your piece looks like a painting. The use of green and yellow makes this piece very warm and inviting. The small details add to the piece like the coloration of the dress lets it blend into the piece better than if it were left white.
ReplyDeleteEven though this was a gif, I saw beauty in this art because of the different view this art work displays showing how an artists defines his or her work through their imagination of memory and creativity. Very good job, even looks like a painting.
